Community Intervention Services

Over 30 community intervention specialists serve customers in Crittenden, Cross, Lee, Monroe, Phillips, and St. Francis counties.  Community interventio is a system of support that links customers to both formal and informal services in the community and provides focused interventions to families with children and adolescents who exhibit extremely challenging behaviors.  Community intervention specialists work closely with customers and their significant others to enhance successful community living.  Emphasis is on preserving the integrity of the family and eliminating the risk of out-of-home placement for the child.  Community intervention services include, but are not limited to; establishing eligibility for services, customer’s advocacy, medication management assistance, counseling to customers and their families, as well as, crisis intervention.
