Cross County Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition

OUR MISSION

To increase community knowledge, through prevention and education, that will result in a reduction of underage and binge drinkers in Cross County.

About the CCDAPC

The coalition began as a sub-committee of Cross County HomeTown Health Coalition.  The coalition focuses on underage drinking.  A grant in the amount of $149,117 was awarded to Cross County.  This is a three year and nine month grant.  Grant is reevaluated every year.  The coalition targets Wynne, Hickory Ridge, Parkin, and  Cherry Valley.  The coalition is made of members of the community.  These members of the community work together to educate the entire community on the affects of underage drinking.  Members include DASEP coordinators, law enforcement, businesses, school officials, and many youth.
